Dhanvantari Herbal Garden

The Medicinal Plant Garden is already started taking its shape,  huge 2 acer sized garden is getting developed with more than 270 species of medicinal plants. The arrangement of plants is conceptualized on the basis of Holy plants, Plants of ten important roots, Plants of navagraha, Plants of Nakshatra and some endangered as well as extinct species. The plantation has done with the references from Ved, Ayurved and Vrikshayurved. The other extra place has be utilized for different small gardens and plots with   different medicinal plants. It will consists herbs, shrubs, trees and vegetables. The commercially important species will also be planted and utilized for in campus Pharmacy. 

This plantation has serve the purpose of  Education as well as it always strengthen the Ex-Situ Conservation of medicinal and Aromatic plants of India. We cultivate maximum number of Medicinal Plants described in Ayurved-Specially mentioned in Syllabus of II BAMS . Most of the endangered and rare species are also conserved here. We will also construct a small nursery to serve this purpose. Nonetheless it will also attract researcher, scientists from different field as well as common people and will increase their interest in Ayurved and Medicinal  Plants.
